The Rapid Innovation Challenge

The 24hr Rapid Innovation Challenge was the competition I participated in at 2017 E-Fest. The goal is to provide a design concept and start-up gameplan in 24hrs. The topic was to design a device to aid kids dealing with hand dystrophy. The design 3 team members and I came up with was a bracelet that had a rigid ball and socket to help keep a pencil or eating utensil stable.

Outcome and Future Goals

My team would end up winning 1st place with our concept and won prizes donated by Mathworks (created MATLAB). This success as well as noticing that the only competition that UF did not compete in was the IAM3D challenge lead me to taking the leap into creating/running my own design team.
