Planning for Success

The Engineering and Science Fair serves as an enormous celebration of STEM fields, a tool to bring our engineering community closer, and a platform to inform people about the opportunities of a career in STEM fields. The event is focused towards the youngest generation of students, those in grades K-12, with the goals of exciting and inspiring the newest generation of students to explore the opportunities of engineering and science, showcasing the opportunities and accomplishments of our STEM fields, and breaking through the stereotype of engineering of three components: a society fair, tours, and speakers.

E-Fair Event

Over a 2 day period, we hosted over 2,500 K-12 students through tours, speakers (including NASA Engineer), and open fair with members of almost every UF engineering design team and society present. This was the most successful E-Fair to date with numbers that doubled the 2016 predecessor. This event was my greatest learning experience in communication and mass organization to date.
